Job summary

WASH Multifamily Laundry Systems in Toronto is seeking a Service Technician to service and maintain laundry equipment in client buildings across Canada. You will diagnose, repair and test systems to ensure high-quality service and customer satisfaction.

Role requires a valid Natural Gas License or Certificate, a clean driving record, and strong mechanical/electrical aptitude. Weekend hours may be required; you will work with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• Holds a valid Natural Gas License or Certificate of Qualification or is enrolled to obtain it as approved by the province.
• Valid Driver’s License and a clean driving abstract.
• Basic mechanical and technical aptitude.
• Basic electronic aptitude.
• 1+ year of small chassis Washer/Dryer repair is an asset.
• Multi-load washer/dryer repair skills are an asset.
• Self-starter with ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Strong technical, electrical and mechanical abilities.
• Ability to diagnose, troubleshoot and assess plumbing, ventilation, electrical needs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, diagnose, repair and test laundry equipment and related products in client sites.
• Maintain professional and friendly relationships with customers/clients.
• Maintain and be accountable for truck inventory (parts/tools).
• Keep company vehicle in safe working condition.
• Assist installers when required.
• Knowledge of basic hand tools.
• Back up a service territory/installer.
• Assist with on-site retrofit and equipment overhauls.
• Complete vend adjustments.
• Site inspection evaluations.
