Job Summary :

We are looking for an experienced Service Technician to provide on-site support to customers and technical assistance with various electro-mechanical products, equipment, and systems. The technician will diagnose, repair, and maintain equipment and machinery, requiring strong mechanical aptitude, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to customer service. The role includes implementing a technician work area in our Richmond warehouse and providing backup for the Logistics Manager. Flexibility and understanding of business flow are essential; this position involves 50% travel.

Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Diagnose and repair equipment and machinery malfunctions.
  • Perform routine maintenance on equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly.
  • Communicate effectively with customers regarding repairs and maintenance.
  • Maintain accurate records of repairs and activities.
  • Follow safety protocols.
  • Collaborate with team members for efficient service.

As warehouse supervisor temporarily, responsibilities include managing inventory, verifying shipments, maintaining cleanliness, assisting with loading/unloading, and reconciling inventory discrepancies.

Job Qualifications :

  • 5 years of experience as a Service Technician or similar role.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team.
  • Valid driver's license and clean record.
  • Forklift certification.
  • Basic computer skills for record-keeping.
