As a Service Technician, you’ll have the chance tomake a real impact by ensuring that our customers' equipmentis always running at its best. Your dedication to their service needs, combinedwith your expertise and keen troubleshooting skills, will ensuretheir machinery runs smoothly and efficiently.Pictureyourself working alongside other skilled Technicians in awell-equipped shop where you'll have all the support and resourcesnecessary to deliver exceptional service.

Keep the WheelsTurning: Use cutting-edge tools and technology todiagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range ofequipment.

Field ServiceExcellence: Travel tolocal farms to provide on-site service. You'll be the expert that keeps everythingrunning smoothly.

RoutineMaintenance: Conduct regular checks and maintenance toensure optimal performance and prevent any unexpected downtimeduring crucial farming seasons.


Tech-Savvy:Utilize JohnDeere computer programs to access manuals, run diagnostics, carryout precise repairs, and install the latest upgrades andmodifications to equipment.

TeamCollaboration: Work alongside adynamic team of skilled professionals, sharing insights andsolving complex technical problems together.

Continuous Learning: Engagein company-sponsored training programs to expand yourexpertise and stay ahead of the curve.

Requirements

Education:Journeyperson Certificate –Heavy Equipment Technician (HET) or AgriculturalEquipment Technician (AET).

Experience:4+years in agriculture equipment repair or a relatedfield. Previous John Deere agricultural equipment andproduct experience is anasset.

TechnicalSkills: Proficiency indiesel engines, hydraulic systems, electrical systems,and computer-based diagnostic tools.

People-Focused:Teamplayer with a friendly, professional attitude and focus oncustomer service.

SoftSkills:Attention to Detail, strong timemanagement, ability to work independently, andadaptability.

PhysicalCapability:Ability to lift, carry, push,and pull up to 50 lbs with long periods of standing andwalking.

Valid Driver'sLicense:You'll need this for travel toservice calls.

Training andDevelopment: Wekeep our team current by investing twice as much in trainingas any other John Deere dealer in Southern Alberta bothinside and outside of our dealership.
