Service Technician

Job - Permanent Full-time - Technician / Technical - maintenance / repair

Office: Kitchener - Kitchener, Ontario

Start date: As soon as possible

Schedule: Monday to Friday (Day shift)

Description:

The Service Technician will be responsible for completing a regimented Preventative Maintenance schedule within existing customer accounts. The role involves helping to drive new sales in Southwest Ontario. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, capable of completing weekly tasks, and maintaining strong relationships with existing clients. Responsibilities include providing preventative and emergency services, equipment installation, and sharing product knowledge to meet and exceed customer expectations.

Responsibilities:

As a member of the Territory Manager’s team, the Service Technician will:

• Execute Preventative Maintenance Plans;
• Ensure proper cleanliness and sanitation for each customer;
• Participate in rotational emergency on-call duties;
• Drive new sales within existing accounts;
• Accurately complete Electronic Service Reports;
• Provide customer training on new products and equipment;
• Perform installations and adjustments of new or replacement dishwashers and other systems;
• Be available for on-call duties approximately 1 in 3 weekends.

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you must:

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent;
• Have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record;
• Demonstrate a high degree of mechanical aptitude;
• Be skilled in using hand tools;
• Have some sales experience;
• Be familiar with electronic technology and software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, apps);
• Be able to work rotational on-call weekends.
