Job Description

We require a full-time employee to work as a scale technician with a scale company located on Annacis Island. Work area covered is all of the lower mainland of Vancouver and Vancouver Island.

Experience in the scale business is an asset. Person we are looking for must be mechanically inclined, and will be able to learn basic electronics. Preference given to a person with a Class 3 drivers licence in order to drive our large weight truck, or willing to obtain licence at a later date. Must be willing to take training to become accredited with Measurement Canada as an inspector to certify scales legal for trade.

This is a unionized position with full benefits including a pension plan. Hourly rate increases with levels of achievement.

Person applying must be good with customers and willing to work as a team with co-workers.
