Job summary

Petro Service Limited is a leading provider of fueling solutions with coverage across Canada. We are hiring a Service Technician to travel to customer sites across Newfoundland, maintaining and repairing petroleum dispensing equipment and related systems.

You will troubleshoot issues, perform repairs, and ensure customers receive top-tier service for traditional and emerging fueling technologies. We value safety, reliability, and strong customer communication as core duties of the role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma; post-secondary in electronics or trades is a plus.
• Experience in mechanical or electrical work; certification welcome.
• Licensed to drive with a clean abstract; willing to travel and be on-call.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer sites across Newfoundland to maintain and repair petroleum dispensing equipment.
• Troubleshoot issues, perform repairs, and ensure top-tier service for clients.
• Enhance client satisfaction through proactive communication and reliable service.

Our customers include owners and operators in retail fueling, including car washes, and commercial/industrial markets. Join our dynamic team as a Service Technician in Western Newfoundland! In this role, you will travel to customer sites across Newfoundland to maintain and repair petroleum dispensing equipment. You’ll troubleshoot issues, perform repairs, and ensure our clients receive top-tier service—whether it’s traditional fueling systems or emerging technologies.

Required Competencies:

• Mechanically inclined and eager to learn
• High school graduate (post-secondary in electronics or trades is a plus)
• Experience in mechanical or electrical work (certified tradespeople welcome!)
• Energetic, self-motivated, and positive
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Skilled in customer service and multitasking
• Clear communicator with strong organizational skills
• Licensed to drive with a clean abstract
• Willing to travel, work on-call (rotation), and take on overtime
• TSSA or CPCA certified (an asset, but not required)
• Training provided
