Job summary

BGIS seeks a Petroleum Service Technician to maintain and repair pumping equipment, electrical and fuel management systems for retail petroleum stations and related clients. You will service and troubleshoot equipment, ensure leak-detection systems operate correctly, and document all work promptly.

Qualifications

• Must be mechanically inclined and able to diagnose and solve mechanical problems.
• Clean driver’s abstract and valid driver’s license.
• Comfortable working independently or as part of a team.
• Willingness to handle on-call 24/7 rotation.
• Strong problem solving and organizational skills.

Job description

The Petroleum Service Technician will specialize in the maintenance and repair of pumping equipment, electrical, fuel management systems for retail petroleum stations, utility providers, transit services, and public works yards.

Responsibilities:

• Service and maintain petroleum equipment, systems and accessories essential to site operation;
• Repair and maintain leak detection systems
• Maintain professionalism, sensitivity, and tact to portray the Company in a positive manner always
• Exercise considerable independent judgment in solving unusual work problems.
• Help maintain strong, trustworthy, and lasting relationships with our existing and new clients that will ensure repeat business and free flowing referrals and focuses on client relationships to grow and maintain core client base.
• Complete all documentation in a timely and accurate manner
• Ensure that the company health and safety policies and procedures are followed
• Possess the physical and mental capabilities to work under stress and control multiple tasks at a time
• Scheduling Involves being part of an on-call 24/7 rotation

• Very mechanically inclined, with an affinity for solving mechanical problems
• Clean Drivers Abstract and Valid Driver’s License

Additional Assets:
