Job summary

The Michael's Companies is seeking a Part-time Seasonal Service Team member in Calgary. You will help customers find items, provide a quick and friendly checkout, and assist with truck unloading and shelf replenishment in a fast-paced retail environment.

You’ll engage customers about the Rewards program and Private Label cards, support omni-channel processes like BOPIS and SFS, and participate in planograms and stock optimization to keep the store well merchandised.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods and move around the store.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends and early mornings.

Responsibilities

• Deliver friendly customer service and help customers shop for products.
• Provide a fast, friendly checkout experience with cash handling.
• Unloading trucks and stocking merchandise; maintain planograms.
• Engage customers about Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards.
• Educate customers about VOC surveys and solicit feedback.
• Assist with Buy Online Pickup in Store and Ship From Store processes.
• Participate in SISO, AD set duties, and store recovery tasks.
• Support shrink control and safety programs; follow SOPs.
• Cross-train in Custom Framing selling and production.

Ensure all customers receive a fast and friendly checkout experience.
