Job summary

The Michaels Companies in Calgary is seeking a part-time Customer Service Team Member to help customers shop, locate products, and provide a fast, friendly checkout experience. You will also manage truck unloading, stocking and planograms to keep the store well merchandised.

You may participate in BOPIS/SFS processes and support store recovery, shrink and safety programs while upholding SOPs and brand standards.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Must be at least sixteen years old in Canada.
• Able to stand and move around the store for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Deliver friendly customer service, help customers shop our store, and find what they’re looking for.
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience with cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers on the Rewards program and enroll in Private Label Credit Cards.
• Educate customers on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey.
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes.
• Complete merchandise recovery, returns/go backs and general store recovery.
• Perform Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties as assigned.
• Support shrink and safety programs.
