Job description

Store - GUELPH, ON

Deliver friendly customer service, assist customers in shopping, and help them find what they’re looking for. Ensure all customers experience a quick and friendly checkout. Complete truck unloading and merchandise duties, including maintaining store recovery standards to uphold our Brand Promises.

  1. Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
  2. Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards.
  3. Engage customers on the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards, and facilitate enrollments.
  4. Educate customers about the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey.
  5. Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
  6. Participate in truck unloading, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes.
  7. Complete merchandise recovery and maintenance, including returns and store recovery, to ensure a well-merchandised and in-stock store.
  8. Perform Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties as assigned.
  9. Support shrink and safety programs.
  10. Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and company policies to ensure legal compliance and standards.
  11. Interact respectfully with others; maintain a positive attitude, promote the organization’s values, and serve as a role model.
  12. Cross-train in Custom Framing selling and production.

Other duties as assigned.

Preferred Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.

Physical Requirements & Work Environment
  • Remain standing for extended periods.
  • Move throughout the store as needed.
  • Perform bending, lifting, carrying, reaching, and stretching.
  • Lift heavy boxes and access high shelves using ladders or similar equipment.
  • Work in a climate-controlled store environment; some outdoor work and work in non-climate-controlled stock rooms.
  • Work hours include nights, weekends, and early mornings.
