Job summary

Pattison Ag is seeking a Service Shift Manager/Foreman to lead the service department across our Canadian locations. You will schedule service work, mentor technicians, and ensure efficient workflow while maintaining top-tier customer satisfaction.

The role calls for hands-on supervision, strong diagnostic acumen, and a commitment to safety and quality outcomes. Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in complex repairs of agricultural equipment, JDTECH certification, and a proven ability to use

Qualifications

• 5+ years of complex repairs experience on agricultural equipment.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ag Tech (JDTECH) Journeyperson Cert/equivalent.
• Expert knowledge of agricultural equipment and diagnostics.
• Ability to operate diagnostic equipment and computer systems.

Responsibilities

• Schedule all service jobs for technicians to optimize efficiency.
• Coach and develop employees to improve performance.
• Back up Service Business Manager as needed.
• Assist in diagnosis and troubleshooting of equipment.
• Perform final approvals on equipment and repairs.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and follow up with clients.
• Assist in quoting repairs and maintaining records.
• Build strong team dynamics across departments.
• Promote safe working habits in the shop and yard.

Responsibilities

• Schedule all service jobs for techs to optimize efficiency
• Motivate all employees through coaching/development
• Back up Service Business Mgr
• Assist in diagnosis/troubleshooting of equipment
• Perform final approvals on equipment
• Exceptional customer service & follow up
• Assist in quoting repairs & maintaining records
• Build effective team dynamics with all departments
• Encourage safe working habits

Requirements

• Operate vehicles/equipment used for diagnostics
• 5+ years doing complex repairs
• Lift up to 40lbs repeatedly; 40-75lbs on occasion
• Work flexible hours/varying shifts/weekends/holidays
• Valid drivers license
• Ag Tech (JDTECH) Journeyperson Cert/equivalent
• Expert knowledge of ag equipment
• Effectively use computers/systems
