Job summary

Penske Truck Leasing Canada Inc. is seeking an energetic Customer Service Coordinator in Saint-Laurent, QC to schedule preventative maintenance, coordinate external repairs and manage daily shop administrative tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Two years of customer service experience required.
• At least one year of hands-on mechanical experience preferred.
• Two years of supervisory experience preferred.
• At least two years of service department administration preferred.
• High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Experience with service scheduling programs and diagnostic tools preferred.
• Regular, predictable attendance is essential.
• Willingness to travel and to work at the specified location; background check may be required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with customers to schedule preventative maintenance and balance openings with technician schedules.
• Communicate maintenance updates, schedule changes, billing concerns, and satisfaction issues.
• Ensure Penske rental units are maintained and prepared for customers.
• Ensure parts are available for scheduled work.
• Order, kit, and return parts.
• Hold vendors accountable for quality and schedule adherence for outside work.
• Provide customer service to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
• Coordinate with district billing clerks as necessary.
• Prepare merchandise for display, purchase, or rental.
• Recommend and provide advice on a wide variety of rental products and services.
• Keep records of rental transactions and customer entries.
• Prepare rental forms with signatures and required details.
• Inspect and adjust rental items to meet customer needs.
• Confer with customers to provide information, take orders, or resolve complaints.
• Keep records of inquiries, complaints, and actions taken.
• Resolve billing complaints by exchanges, refunds, and adjustments.
• Determine charges, collect deposits or payments, and arrange billing.
• Other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor.
