Job summary

REEL COH Inc. is seeking a Service Project Manager to oversee the installation phase of projects in the Durham area, ensuring safety, quality, and timely delivery. You will lead installation teams, coordinate with engineering and procurement, and maintain strong client relationships.

The role requires 5+ years in relevant project management and a strong engineering mindset, with travel to sites as needed and a focus on safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

  • College or bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial fields.
  • Minimum five years of experience in relevant installation/project management roles.
  • Trade certification (e.g., millwright, electrician) is a plus.
  • Rigging and lifting certification or experience is a plus.
  • Nuclear site access training / Radiation safety training is a plus.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making ability.
  • Effective communication and team coordination.
  • Commitment to safety and quality excellence.
  • Flexibility to work in demanding site environments and travel as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage installation projects from start to finish, ensuring scope, schedule, budget, and quality objectives are met.
  • Plan and coordinate the execution of equipment maintenance in collaboration with the customer's management.
  • Develop detailed installation plans, work breakdown structures, and resource allocation strategies. Coordinate activities with engineering, procurement, construction, project management, and commissioning teams.
  • Research and identify potential projects and retrieve key information to prepare reliable estimates.
  • Evaluate the necessary execution time of projects and plan the implementation with the client.
  • Anticipate risks and implement mitigation measures.
  • Provide regular updates on progress, issues, and resource needs, and resolve problems promptly.
  • Coordinate handover to commissioning and operations teams.
  • Supervise and support installation crews, subcontractors, and site supervisors.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, inspectors, and internal stakeholders.
  • Provide technical support to customers.

Position

Reporting to the Ontario General Manager, the Service Project Manager is responsible for the successful execution of the installation phase of the projects entrusted to them; they ensure complete installation oversight. As such, they are accountable for meeting the installation contractual deliverables and achieving objectives in terms of safety, quality, cost, deadlines, and customer satisfaction. In addition, the Service Project Manager assume a key role in the management of the commercial relation with energy producer, and as such, he is involved in key commercial development tasks as estimation, contract discussion and much more. The service project manager is representing our company locally with all stakes holder in the Durham Area.


What You’ll Do
