Job description

As a Service Plumber, your responsibilities will include performing service and maintenance tasks on commercial and/or industrial plumbing systems, piping, and fixtures.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

1. Inspect existing plumbing systems at commercial and industrial sites.
2. Troubleshoot issues and repair or replace systems, piping, and fixtures as needed.
3. Diagnose problems, test parts with appropriate instruments, disassemble and reassemble components, and perform necessary repairs.
4. Read blueprints and understand plumbing codes to diagnose and resolve issues.
5. Complete daily electronic documentation using a handheld device.
6. Work independently and collaboratively to complete tasks within specified timeframes.
7. Operate company vehicle to perform service calls within designated territories.
8. Climb ladders and work at varying heights.
9. Perform other duties or projects as assigned.

Education, Training, Licenses, and Certifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in repairing and troubleshooting commercial plumbing systems (preferred).
• Journeyman plumbing license (a plus).
• Backflow certification (a plus).
• Master plumbing license (a plus).
• OSHA 10 certification (preferred).

• Ability to pass background, drug, MVR (if applicable), physical tests, and have reliable transportation.
• Willingness to travel as needed for projects.
