Job description

Job Title: Service Plumber

As a Journeyman Service Plumber, you will focus primarily on service plumbing for commercial and residential existing buildings. Your duties will include troubleshooting, repairing leaks, faucets, and pipes, as well as reinstalling new equipment for various facilities such as kitchenettes, kitchens, showers, washrooms, sinks, and toilets. You will also be responsible for removing and installing new piping, including cast, copper, and stainless materials, as well as domestic water and vent stacks. Additionally, drain cleaning will be part of your responsibilities. You must be able to read blueprints and ensure that new equipment is installed properly, working independently to meet project requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and repair leaks, faucets, and pipes in commercial and residential buildings.
  • Reinstall new equipment in kitchenettes, kitchens, showers, washrooms, sinks, and toilets.
  • Remove and install new piping, including cast, copper, and stainless materials.
  • Perform drain cleaning duties as required.
  • Read and interpret blueprints to ensure proper installation of equipment.
  • Work independently to meet project requirements.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years experience in residential or commercial service plumbing.
  • Journeyman Plumber with a Ticketed Red Seal.
  • Clean Driver's Abstract required.
  • Ability to work on a 24/7 on-call basis once every 2-3 months.
  • Ability to provide a clean driving record.
