Service Manager, Canada

Our Service Manager is a self-motivated, reliable and dynamic individual with an entrepreneurial spirit, capable of leveraging their relationship to deliver high value products and services to our customers. Responsible for quoting and execution of all OPEX (Operational Expenditure) projects in North America. Managing a team of Technical Advisors/Field Engineers to successfully execute OPEX service projects. Working with customers to generate opportunities to grow the Voith Service Business in North America. Work with key local stake holders to provide best in class service experience to Voith customer base.

Responsibilities
  • Act as regional business development lead for all service offerings (OPEX, LTSA, CAPEX, Spares, Digital) and strengthen customer relationships and managing the regional pipeline in SalesForce.
  • Drive achievement of sales targets, including consistent monthly order intake, year-over-year growth in orders received, and operating profit improvements, with clear accountability for delivering business results
  • Represent Voith as the primary regional contact for service delivery, acting as the face of HyService during customer interactions and warranty follow-ups, and maintaining strong customer relationships.
  • Contribute to strategic planning and organizational development, supporting annual sales planning, developing winning proposals, and shaping the long-term growth of the service business
  • Business Development advocate for all HyService Opportunities (OPEX, CAPEX, AUTOM/DIGITAL and SPARES)
  • Lead the strategy for growth of their service region.
  • Conduct frequent customer visits to generate growth and identify leads.
  • Strengthen customer relationships and develop new customers.
  • Drive sales and marketing of new services and products.
Profile Required
  • Intrinsically motivated.
  • Service mindset
  • At least 10 years or more of experience in similar role.
  • University diploma in Engineering or equivalent industry experience.
  • Proven leadership track record.
  • Sales experience with proven record of closing orders.
  • Project management experience.
  • Experience and technical understanding of Hydro turbines, generators and balance of plant equipment.
  • Comfortable with full accountability.
  • Good personal skills, team player.
  • Able to work in a team with remote participants.
  • Fully computer literate MS office suite.
  • SalesForce and SAP experience are an asset.
  • Up to 50% or more of travel time to various customer/project sites is required
