Fountain Tire (West Kelowna) is searching for a friendly and knowledgeable Automotive Service Manager to manage the operations of the mechanical service department to drive productivity quality assurance and to promote a high level of customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities
- Overseeing and managing mechanical and tire services
- Setting quality standards and maintaining the quality of all shop activities
- Ensuring completion of shop maintenance and repair work
- Addressing customer complaints and inquiries in a courteous professional manner
- Advising technicians of work that must be completed
- Ensuring technicians compliance with company standards regarding quality safety and customer service
- Managing the morale in the shop by setting and demonstrating a strong business ethic for dealing with employees suppliers and customers
- Ordering Parts for mechanical jobs
- Maintain Inventory levels for oils & filters
- Create work orders arrange bookings and communicate them to technicians
- Provide service quotes and receive customer authorization for work to be performed on vehicles finalize sales and complete customer follow up
Our ideal candidate has / is
- Professional experience as a Service Manager or Service Advisor required
- Must be available to work Saturdays
- Strong knowledge of mechanical services & parts
- Proven effective leadership skills with a strong focus on operations and business processes
- High level of integrity and accountability
- A customer service focus
- Ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with team members and customers
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Continuously looking to learn and use new skills and the demonstrated ability to recognize opportunities for improvements
