Summary

The Service (Maintenance) Specialist performs technical and mechanical work to ensure the buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas meet our standards for cleanliness, safety, and functionality.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Complete work orders from resident requests and perform preventative maintenance by diagnosing issues.
  • Make repairs following policies, safety standards, and codes.
  • Prepare vacant units for leasing and new residents.
  • Obtain supplies, complete maintenance tasks, and inspect work.
  • Maintain grounds and common areas, including trash pickup and cleaning.
  • Pressure-wash walkways and pool areas, and perform general cleaning and painting as needed.
  • Conduct property inspections to identify safety concerns.
  • Respond courteously to questions and resolve customer issues calmly.
  • Keep the property in good repair and report physical needs to management.

Knowledge and Skills Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED.

Work Hours

Typically Monday-Friday with rotating weekends; hours may vary. On-Call hours apply.
