Job summary

Total Sanitation Services in Dorchester, Ontario, is seeking a reliable Service Driver to service portable sanitation units at customer sites. This full-time, on-site role involves delivering, servicing, and retrieving equipment with training provided.

You will operate a company truck, perform inspections, maintain logs, and communicate professionally with customers about placement and service requirements.

Qualifications

• Valid G driver's license with a clean abstract.
• 1 year of all-season driving experience.
• DZ/AZ licenses preferred with 3 years commercial driving.
• Ability to use tablets and cell phones.
• Physical ability to lift up to 35 lbs and work outdoors.
• Customer-focused with clear verbal communication.
• Familiar with local area roads.
• Able to commute consistently.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a company truck to deliver, service, and retrieve portable sanitation equipment.
• Pump, clean, restock, and maintain equipment to standards.
• Load and unload units with secure transport.
• Complete daily route documentation and service logs.
• Conduct routine vehicle and equipment inspections.
• Communicate with customers regarding placement and service requirements.
• Follow safety protocols and PPE requirements.
• Maintain a clean and organized vehicle and work area.

About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Service Driver to join our team. In this role, you will service portable sanitation units at customer sites. This is an active, hands-on position suited for someone who enjoys working independently, takes pride in doing quality work, and values strong customer service. Full training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a company truck to deliver, service, and retrieve portable sanitation equipment.
• Pump, clean, restock, and maintain equipment to company quality and safety standards.
• Load and unload units, ensuring secure transport and proper placement.
• Complete daily route documentation, delivery notes, and required service logs.
• Conduct routine inspections of vehicles and equipment, reporting maintenance needs.
• Communicate professionally with customers regarding placement, access, and service requirements.
• Follow all safety protocols, PPE requirements, and company operating procedures.
• Maintain a clean and organized vehicle and work area.

Qualifications

• Valid G Driver’s license with a clean abstract.
• Must have 1 year all season driving experience.
• DZ/AZ appreciated if available with minimum of 3 years commercial driving
• Ability to use basic technology (tablets, cell phones)
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including moving, lifting, and working outdoors in all weather conditions (up to 35lbs.).
• Customer-focused mindset with clear and good verbal communication skills.
• Familiar with area roads and maps.
• Able to commute to work consistently.

Work Location: Fully Onsite

Pay: $21.79 - $22.68 per hour
