Here’s the job opportunity…

In this one year contract position as a Service Desk Administrator at ivari you will be responsible for analysis and resolution of Information Technology service requests (including, Incidents, Problems, Service Requests, Work Requests); supporting desktop updates and patches; asset management and deployment; problem solving and troubleshooting; and customer service. Your key responsibility is ensuring operational requirements for Information Technology are maintained and supporting our internal customers by restoring any disrupted services as efficiently as possible.

In This Role You Will

  1. Provide professional customer service to support the business and Information Technology which includes contributing to the improvement of cross functional communication and team synergies.
  2. Ability to install, configure, upgrade, maintain and support desktops, laptops and other mobile devices.
  3. Maintain the Base in an efficient and effective manner.
  4. Diagnose and resolve technical issues.
  5. Create, document, and refer issues and problems in accordance with ticketing standards.
  6. Build and document Information Technology service management process improvements and solutions.

What We Are Looking For…

  1. A candidate with a College Diploma or University Degree in Computer Science or related field.
  2. Minimum 1 year experience within a service desk position.
  3. Demonstrable knowledge of Microsoft client technologies specific to the installation and maintenance of the OS and application integration.
  4. Strong Microsoft productivity application knowledge and experience such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
  5. Strong knowledge of all client hardware technologies.
  6. Proven proficiency with Microsoft Windows 10.
  7. Knowledge of software tools to assist in operating a Service Desk.
  8. Exceptional knowledge of computer hardware & software.
  9. Excellent communication skills.
  10. Demonstrated interpersonal skills which will enable you to communicate in a positive, professional manner with users and co-workers.
  11. Proven ability to perform effectively in high-pressure situations.
