Job summary

Aviso Wealth Inc. in Vancouver seeks a Service Designer to join the Experience team for a 12-month contract. You will manage two client journeys, lead end-to-end research, and present insights to stakeholders using design artifacts such as personas and service blueprints.

Ideal candidates have 5–7 years in service design, a design-related degree, and strong storytelling and collaboration skills. English fluency is required; French is a plus in a bilingual market.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Design, HCI, or related field required; graduate degree preferred
• 5–7 years of experience in Service Design, User Research, Design Strategy, or similar field
• Expertise in user-centered design, design thinking, and service design
• Experience using in-depth interviews, contextual inquiries, diary studies, job shadows, workshops, and concept testing plus portfolio
• Proficient with design and research tools (TheyDo, Dovetail, UserTesting, Trend Watching, Figma, Miro, Dscout)

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary consultant for all Service Design initiatives for two product delivery squads
• Lead end-to-end research initiatives across front- and back-end experiences
• Present research findings to stakeholders using personas, ecosystem maps, experience maps, and service blueprints
• Lead cross-functional teams through future state design exploration and prototyping
• Contribute to optimizing service design operations and templates
• Increase customer centricity and design maturity across the organization
• Provide research and design subject matter expertise to internal and external partners
