Accountabilities

Communicate regularly with customers to gather information related to technical issues

Troubleshoot and repair electrical / air components used on cranes

Perform preventative scheduled maintenance and repairs to ensure safe and proper working order of cranes

Review technical inquiries of customers to recommend possible solutions related to the operation or maintenance

Answer service calls

Perform cold calling to attract new customers

Be proactive & propose good technical solutions to increase customer equipment durability

Maintain inventory

Education & Experience

Electromechanical Engineering Technician program or equivalent degree

Electrical Licence such as 442A, Journeyman Electrician or Red Seal

Excellent mechanical and electrical skills

At least 3 years of related work experience

Driver license G

Welding experience, an asset

Skills & Abilities

Ability to solve technical problems

Ability to communicate issues to customers

Comfortable working at heights and in all weather conditions

High degree of initiative and flexibility

Ability to work variable hours, overtime, and / or "on call" as needed
