Accountabilities

  • Communicate regularly with customers to gather information related to technical issues
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical / air components used on cranes
  • Perform preventative scheduled maintenance and repairs to ensure safe and proper working order of cranes
  • Review technical inquiries of customers to recommend possible solutions related to the operation or maintenance
  • Answer service calls
  • Perform cold calling to attract new customers
  • Be proactive & propose good technical solutions to increase customer equipment durability
  • Maintain inventory
  • Education & Experience

  • Electromechanical Engineering Technician program or equivalent degree
  • Electrical Licence such as 442A, Journeyman Electrician or Red Seal
  • Excellent mechanical and electrical skills
  • At least 3 years of related work experience
  • Driver license G
  • Welding experience, an asset
  • Skills & Abilities

  • Ability to solve technical problems
  • Ability to communicate issues to customers
  • Comfortable working at heights and in all weather conditions
  • High degree of initiative and flexibility
  • Ability to work variable hours, overtime, and / or "on call" as needed
