Job summary

KINGS Energy Services is seeking a Service Champion to ensure accurate service delivery, strong customer relations, and efficient paperwork flow across valve-related operations. The role involves coordinating with Team Leads, Operations, and Business Development to uphold policies and drive reliable service.

You will manage order intake, scheduling, inventory, and documentation, including shipping/receiving, while maintaining data integrity and supporting cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Billing, quoting, purchase orders and invoicing experience is preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage time effectively.

Job description

As our next Service Champion, you’ll help customers feel heard, keep communication moving, and support the team in delivering reliable service. This role is perfect for someone who is organized, people-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Service Champion Position Summary:

The Service Champion facilitates the transaction between the customer and the company through the successful management of product and service delivery. They work closely with Team Leads, Operations and Business Development to ensure that policies and procedures are being followed by staff and management where it relates to this position and all its responsibilities. Other aspects of this role will include an inventory control component and may also assist with shipping/receiving, administrative, and clerical obligations.

Position Responsibilities:
  • Take direction and fulfill responsibilities from the Service Champion Team Lead.
  • Work closely with the Team Lead for all valve scheduling and paperwork requirements.
  • Review and maintain the accuracy and ensure completeness of all paperwork prior to billing (POs, estimates, quotes, sales orders, etc.)
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external customers.
  • Create and track the paper flow within the shop.
  • Assign and prioritize customer jobs for all valves (call ins, scheduled or sales requested).
  • Ensure work orders are filled out in accordance with customer and company requirements.
  • Ensure validity of data input and integrity of information is properly recorded in the VeeBase system.
  • Handle and manage questions from employees and customers regarding procedures, products, and issues that may arise regarding scheduling and paperwork.
  • Adhere to daily, weekly, monthly reporting requirements as established by the Service Champion Lead.
  • Participate in daily toolbox meetings.
  • Prepare job packages for Custom Submissions and acceptance at US border crossing for US customers – both incoming and outgoing.
  • Ensure parts consumed in service work are accurately reflected on invoice.
  • Work and collaborate with Team lead - Inventory/Purchasing to report stock issues.
  • Perform quarterly cycle counts of inventory.
  • Track, develop, and maintain processes for ensuring accurate inventory management.
  • Act as the administrative point of contact between the internal and external clients.
  • Initiate Nonconformance reports where any product or services do not meet Purchase Order, Contract, Work Order, or Industry regulated requirements.
  • Demonstrate and emphasize safety conscience attitude while building a culture of trust and accountability.
  • Additional duties may be defined within the scope of this position. For example, assist with:
    • Physical check in of incoming orders and transfer to stock.
    • Pull parts and complete paperwork necessary to quickly get needed parts to internal and external customers.
Education and Experience:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Billing, quoting, purchase orders and invoicing experience.
Additional Skills and Qualifications:
  • Ability to work under pressure and within time constraints and to manage time effectively and efficiently.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively work within complex, fast-moving work environment under minimal supervision.
  • Inside Sales skills or the willingness to learn.
  • Product and service knowledge.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Accuracy and strong attention to detail for data entry and paperwork.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Ability to work as a positive contributing member within a team environment.
  • Initiative to take a hands-on approach in developing systems and procedures.
  • Basic computer skills; Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook), Microsoft Business Central (ERP)
  • Problem solving, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Must be able to effectively read, write, and speak English
