What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):

  1. Provide hands-on leadership by mentoring, coaching, and guiding employees to foster a positive work environment
  2. Lead safety performance initiatives, promoting a proactive safety culture and ensuring compliance with safety standards
  3. Manage shift maintenance activities and resolve equipment breakdowns in coordination with the maintenance team
  4. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness across operations
  5. Monitor operational costs and yield, collaborating with the Plant Manager to optimize performance

What is Required (Qualifications):

  1. Availability and flexibility to work on various shifts as needed
  2. Experience in recruitment, hiring, discipline, and termination processes
  3. Working knowledge of Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, or other continuous improvement programs
  4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with SAP, Kronos/UKG, and CMMS is an asset
  5. Strong analytical problem-solving skills and ability to multitask in a team environment

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):

  1. Previous experience in production planning and relationship building
  2. Familiarity with safety, health, and environmental guidelines
  3. Ability to manage payroll for shifts effectively
  4. Knowledge of data analysis and data-driven decision-making
  5. Fluency in French is desirable
