As a Customer Service Associate, you will be part of a dedicated team based in Halifax, NS, reporting directly to the Branch Manager. Your role involves organizing and executing the daily operations of the service branch. You will utilize sales and customer service skills to maintain and enhance our corporate image and achieve set targets.

What you will get to do

  • Provide courteous, knowledgeable, and efficient service to maximize customer satisfaction
  • Manage warranty and company policies, making operational decisions daily
  • Coordinate customer parts and tool orders
  • Handle processes such as cash controls, returns, warranty, and paperwork to meet audit standards
  • Maintain cleanliness standards
  • Perform branch opening and closing duties, including cash registers and computers
  • Implement branch promotions and programs like “Drop Box” with the Branch Manager
  • Assist with shipping and receiving tasks
  • Build and maintain relationships with Field Representatives and Territory Managers to increase service business

Who You are

  • Experience in retail sales is an asset
  • Effective communication skills
  • Strong sales and organizational skills
  • Ability to complete tasks within tight time frames
  • Working knowledge of computers, especially Microsoft Office, is an asset
  • Ability to lift at least 20 lbs
  • Ability to stand for 95% of the workday
  • Ability to follow operating procedures and organizational policies
  • Prior shipping/receiving experience is an asset
