We're looking for a hard-working person to join us as aBoiler Technician in our Service Department! If you have an extensive knowledge of boiler operation, controls, and safety regulations, as well as strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities, then we have the work for you! As our Boiler Technician, you step into a bustling mechanical wonderland, greeted by the hum of state-of-the-art systems. With your extensive experience, you proactively troubleshoot complex boilers, seamlessly install technical HVAC systems, and expertly navigate intricate control setups.

STABLE, FLEXIBLE SCHEDULE

You can expect to work Monday through Friday, with the potential to be added to an on-call list.

OUR IDEAL SERVICE BOILER TECHNICIAN:

We're looking for someone who meets these qualifications:

  • Commercial, residential, or custom home boiler experience
  • 3rd year or Journeyperson Ticket
  • Tech-savvy with iPads and texting apps
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to work under minimal supervision
  • Position attitude and excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Class 5 driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Attention to detail and a motivation to produce high-quality work

And who can manage these responsibilities:

  • Install, maintain, and repair residential and commercial boiler systems
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot boiler issues, including leaks, pressure problems, and combustion irregularities
  • Perform routine maintenance, including burner tuning, cleaning, and replacing worn-out components
  • Test and calibrate boiler controls, safety devices, and system components
  • Ensure compliance with local building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards
  • Work with hydronic and steam heating systems, including pumps, expansion tanks, and piping
  • Provide excellent customer service, explaining issues, repair options, and maintenance recommendations
  • Maintain accurate service records, including work performed, parts used, and follow-up actions
  • Follow all safety protocols and company guidelines while on job sites
