South Side Nissan is currently looking to fill a position of a Service Advisor.

Reporting to the service manager, the service advisor is responsible for promptly and courteously serving all service customers. This person will ensure they accurately obtain all required information on repair orders, fully explain required work and obtain proper authorization for the required work while maintaining focus on Customer Satisfaction and Labor Sales.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Ensure customer satisfaction.
  2. Promptly meet and greet all clients in a friendly and courteous manner.
  3. Handle client concerns and/or misunderstandings with courtesy and tact.
  4. Complete vehicle inspections.
  5. Obtain pre-authorization costs, parts availability, and payments.
  6. Review and monitor all appointment files, recommendations, scheduled maintenance, and check for previous service recommendations.
  7. Explain what service/repair is recommended to customers.
  8. Monitor repair process, check job status and update work in process.
  9. Monitor all repair orders from opening to closing and ensure that customers are updated on progress.
  10. Review CSI monthly score and day-to-day performance.
  11. Review with the customer loaner policies and warranty details.
  12. Other duties as assigned by management.
