Our compensation package includes health, dental, EFAP, vision care, and life insurance. The salary range for a Service Advisor is $45,000 to $58,000, depending on education and experience. A monthly bonus is available.

The Role

Under the supervision of the Service Office Supervisor, the Service Advisor welcomes customers, gathers vehicle information, sells maintenance services, and organizes the work schedule while maintaining excellent customer service. The schedule is Wednesday to Saturday, 7:00 am to 5:30 pm.

Customer Relations – 70% of your time

  • Verify vehicle details such as VIN, mileage, company, contact info.
  • Act as liaison between customer, Service, Parts, and Sales Departments.
  • Gather customer and vehicle data upon arrival.
  • Inform customers of promotions and services.
  • Verify payment methods before repairs.
  • Ensure accuracy of data in the system.

Problem Solving – 40% of your time

  • Engage in hands-on troubleshooting.
  • Coordinate with technicians to ensure parts availability.

Education / Certification

  • High School Diploma; post-secondary education in a related field is an asset.

Experience

  • Outstanding customer service skills.
  • Minimum 1 year industry experience (automotive or heavy-duty vehicles).
  • Fluent in English; second language is an asset.
  • Experience in heavy-duty trucks or automotive preferred.
  • Ability to work safely under pressure.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Effective communication skills.
