Job summary

Myers Automotive Group in Ottawa is seeking a Service Advisor to assist customers with vehicle care, explain maintenance options, and coordinate service appointments. You will work with technicians to ensure work is completed correctly and keep customers informed about estimates and timelines.

A valid driver's license is required. Reynolds and Reynolds knowledge is a plus, and a comprehensive total rewards package is offered, including bonus incentives and health initiatives.

Qualifications

• Experience in the automotive industry is required.
• Knowledge of Reynolds and Reynolds system is an asset.
• Strong attention to detail and a customer-service mindset.
• Valid driver's license is required for this position.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with technicians to ensure job is done properly.
• Advise customers on the care of their vehicles and the value of maintaining their vehicles.
• Schedule service appointments.
• Help find solutions to customer inquiries and complaints.
• Follow up on the progress of each repair order during the day, ensuring to contact customers regarding any changes in the estimate or time promised.
• Handle phone inquiries regarding work in process and appointments and returning phone messages promptly.
