Job summary

Canadian Tire Stores seeks a Service Advisor for its automotive service centre. You will greet customers, provide expert guidance on repairs, and coordinate work orders with technicians to ensure timely service and customer satisfaction.

The role emphasizes strong communication, problem-solving, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, with flexible shifts and opportunities for training and growth.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of automotive mechanic
• Ability to work shifts (days, evenings, week-ends and holidays)
• Approachable
• Ability to handle physical demands including standing/walking for 8 hours
• Ability to find solutions to problems and make decisions
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong computer skills
• Plan, organize, delegate and follow-up on daily tasks
• Valid driver’s licence for province of employment
• Good working knowledge of COSTAR
• Experience in a similar role (asset)

Responsibilities

• Offer professional and knowledgeable advice to build customer trust and loyalty.
• Listen actively to identify customer concerns regarding repair and maintenance.
• Prepare work orders and review the estimated costs with customers.
• Manage customer expectations of when their vehicle will be ready.
• Act as a liaison between customers and Service Centre employees.
• Schedule service appointments.
• Ensure compliance with Health and Safety regulations.

• Valid driver”s licence for province of employment
• Good working knowledge of COSTAR (asset)
• Experience in a similar role (asset)
