Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• English fluency with strong verbal and written communication.
• Proficiency in Excel and general computer skills.
• Excellent communication and follow-up capabilities.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Experience in a similar role is an asset.
• Technical/mechanical background in automotive or forklift industry is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with peers and customers on service status and related items.
• Record technicians time daily on work orders for payroll.
• Complete and invoice service orders promptly.
• Enter invoices into customer systems/portals as required.
• Handle inbound calls regarding service invoices and resolve issues.
• Arrange third-party services and issue purchase orders.
• Support dispatch by taking customer calls as needed.
• Assist Service Manager when required.
• Support other tasks as they arise.

• Compensation Range: $46,000 to 56,000 per year. This range is regarding base pay only and does not include benefits and potential bonuses. Overall compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographical location, skillset, education, and experience.

Alta Material Handling is currently looking for a full-timeService Administrator for our London, ON branch.The primary responsibilities of the position consist of, but are not limited to:

Job Duties:

• Communicating effectively with peers, internal and external customers on the status of service work and all other related items
• Inputting the technicians time daily onto the work orders in the system as required for work order completion and payroll
• Completing and invoicing service orders in a timely manner
• Inputting invoices into various customers systems/portals as required
• Inbound calls from customers regarding service invoice issues and resolution of complaints
• Arrange 3rd party services which include issuing purchase orders, receiving purchase orders and applying to service orders
• Providing assistance to our dispatch office to take customer calls as backup
• Providing assistance to Service Manager when required
• Provide support and assistance on other tasks as they arise

Skills:

• High School Diploma
• College or additional certification is a definite asset
• English fluency and effective verbal and writing communication skills
• Knowledge and experience in Excel and other computers skills are a MUST
• Excellent communication skills and follow up on requests and task are a MUST
• Superior organizational skills and multitasking ability
• Experience in a similar position is an asset
• Strong technical and mechanical background in the automotive or forklift industry is an asset
• Language Skills - Intermediate: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.
• Mathematical Skills - Basic: Ability to add and subtract
• Reasoning Ability - Intermediate: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
