Job description

As an Account Manager in the Services division, you will manage client relationships across Ontario and Eastern Canada, specifically focused on ongoing inspections, maintenance, and rehabilitation of existing water infrastructure. The position is relationship-driven, with a strong emphasis on coordination between projects, ensuring inspection schedules are maintained, follow-ups are conducted, and recommended repairs are budgeted and executed in collaboration with technical teams. The position offers $130,000—$150,000 plus bonus.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

  • Base Salary: $130,000–$150,000 depending on experience
  • Bonus: Approx. 20% of base salary, performance-based
  • Travel & Car Allowance: Begins with mileage reimbursement.

  • Total First-Year Earnings Potential: Estimated between $150,000–$180,000

Our client designs, manufactures, installs, and maintains water towers. Founded in 1974, with a head office in Dallas, Texas, it has over 200 employees and is growing steadily. Its client base includes municipalities and counties across the United States and Canada. The company is recognized internationally and is in high growth mode.

OFFICE LOCATION & SALES TERRITORY:

  • Canadian office is located in Burlington, Ontario.
  • The head office is located in Dallas/Fort Worth, US
  • Work Location: In-office training required at both the Burlington and St. George offices.
  • After training, the candidate is expected to be on the road approximately 3 days/week (day travel, home each night), with the remaining 2 days likely spent working from the office

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE & BACKGROUND

  • Minimum 5–10 years of experience in infrastructure service, engineering, or account management
  • Background in water/wastewater, civil engineering, protective coatings, or municipal infrastructure strongly preferred

TYPICAL DAY & DUTIES

  • Manage ongoing client relationships across Ontario and Eastern Canada
  • Schedule and coordinate infrastructure inspections and routine maintenance
  • Follow up on inspection reports, recommended repairs, and budgeting requirements
  • Collaborate with engineers and project managers on structural rehabilitation plans
  • Contribute technical input and specifications for RFPs (excluding full proposal writing)
  • Maintain consistent client engagement between active project phases
  • Identify service expansion opportunities and support long-term client satisfaction
  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and manage activity through CRM systems
  • Act as a technical liaison on protective coatings and rehabilitation processes
  • Support the development of internal processes and service standards as the company expands nationally

  • Estimated at 2–4 overnight trips per month.
