Position: Server Support Analyst
As a Server Support Analyst, you will provide ongoing support to all Prospera Credit Union employees. Your responsibilities include supporting all systems and applications, coordinating and communicating system outages, and assisting within the Business Technology Solutions department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as tier 3 support for banking system infrastructure and serve as the primary liaison for resolving and closing server-side issues. Escalate complex issues to vendors and partners as needed.
- Resolve IT operation incidents, service requests, and problems efficiently, adhering to support SLAs.
- Maintain and monitor critical business systems, including core banking client-server systems, leasing systems, accounting servers, and integrations with third-party vendors.
- Liaise with IT partners to ensure timely resolution of application-related incidents and problems.
- Diagnose IT operational issues and implement resolution or prevention measures.
- Prepare and present system performance and IT operations reports or dashboards to management.
- Document issues and maintain accurate system and application documentation. Create and update a knowledge repository for issues and resolutions. Proactively suggest automation and process improvements to reduce downtime and streamline operations.
Qualifications:
- Expertise in Microsoft Windows Server, Microsoft SQL Server, Vinzant Global Event Control Server (GECS), Microsoft System Centre Operations Manager, SolarWinds, and/or Azure Monitor.
- Experience with server and database administration, updates, vulnerability management, and operations monitoring.
- Proficiency in SQL, PowerShell, and batch scripting.
- Knowledge of DevOps practices, tools, and pipelines, preferably with Azure DevOps or Microsoft Teams Foundation Server.
- Understanding of programming practices and the role of operations in the software development lifecycle.
- Familiarity with the WealthView Banking platform and its ecosystem, procedures, and operations.
- Knowledge of infrastructure, hardware, and virtualization technologies.
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
