Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Server Specialist for a 3+ month contract. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience supporting servers and infrastructure in cloud and on-premise environments. Strong technical skills, problem-solving ability, and collaboration are essential.

Responsibilities

• Support and maintain servers and infrastructure in cloud and on-premise environments.
• Implement cybersecurity frameworks, threat detection, and mitigation.
• Design and implement disaster recovery solutions with cloud infrastructure.
• Migrate on-prem infrastructure to a cloud hybrid DR environment.
• Automate routine tasks using scripting languages.
• Administer Microsoft Windows Server (2016/2019/2022/2025).
• Manage various Linux distributions like Red Hat and Ubuntu.
• Manage storage and network technologies.
• Administer Office 365 applications such as Teams and Exchange Online.
• Monitor infrastructure using various tools.
• Utilize automation tools like Azure Automation or Ansible.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in information systems or related experience.
• 5-7+ years supporting servers and infrastructure.
• MCSA/MCSE certification is an asset.
• Linux certifications are a plus.
• Experience with MS Azure services.
• Experience with VMware and Hyper-V virtualization.
• Knowledge of data centers and server support.
