Role Description

The Restaurant Server contributes to the successful execution of daily food and beverage service within the outlets of ‘Feast’ and ‘Revel’ in the Food and Beverage Department. Working closely with F&B leadership, the role ensures seamless delivery of Hyatt's service standards, enhancing the guest experience during restaurant operations.

Essential Job Functions
  1. Familiarize with all food and beverage items on the menu.
  2. Prepare the restaurant for operation, including mise-en-place, setting/resetting tables, cleaning, and other tasks.
  3. Take food and beverage orders from guests, upselling where possible.
  4. Utilize the restaurant’s point-of-sales system as prescribed.
  5. Ensure all sales are properly recorded, following procedures for ordering, voiding, or correcting items.
  6. Serve food and beverages according to Hyatt standards.
  7. Clear tables and remove dirty dishes.
  8. Complete opening and closing duties, including setting up stations.
  9. Meet guest requests and allergies, following presentation guidelines.
  10. Maintain a clean and orderly station.
  11. Implement brand standards and support team collaboration.
  12. Handle guest complaints courteously, ensuring satisfactory resolution.
  13. Care for operating equipment and supplies to minimize damage.
  14. Complete side work and other duties as assigned.
Other Duties
  1. Report punctually in uniform, maintaining personal appearance and hygiene standards.
  2. Maintain good relationships with colleagues and adhere to hotel policies, including safety and hygiene regulations.
  3. Respond flexibly to departmental changes and attend training sessions.
  4. Perform additional duties as assigned by leadership.
Qualifications
  • Flexible hours, including long shifts and varying schedules.
  • Ability to stand throughout shifts.
  • Desire to satisfy guest needs in a fast-paced environment.
  • Minimum one year of serving experience, preferably in fine dining.
Physical Requirements

Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, walk, use hands, lift up to 50 lbs, talk, and hear. Medium work exerting up to 50 lbs of force occasionally.
