Job summary

Chartwell Retirement Residences seeks a part-time Server to create a warm, welcoming dining atmosphere for residents and guests. You’ll take orders, deliver meals, and contribute to a high-quality service experience in a fast-paced setting.

You will prep the dining room, clear tables, and maintain cleanliness while ensuring safety. Strong communication, organization, and a team-oriented mindset are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Secondary school diploma or equivalent.
• Food Handler Certification (or willingness to obtain—training provided).
• Team-oriented mindset with strong communication skills.
• Ability to stay organized in a fast-paced environment.

Additional Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift/carry heavy items
• Manual dexterity to handle food service equipment
• Comfortable working in a hot dining room environment
• Clear Criminal Background Check, VSS and TB Test where required
