Job summary

Stella’s Café in Winnipeg invites you to join our team as a Server. You will deliver warm, friendly, efficient service from greeting guests to guiding them through the dining experience, while maintaining Stella’s high hospitality standards.

This 100% FOH role requires teamwork, multitasking, and a strong guest-focused approach, with opportunities for advancement and a benefits-inclusive package.

Qualifications

• Previous serving or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to multitask and stay calm in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of food allergies and safe service practices is an asset.
• Flexible availability to work a variety of shifts including days and evenings.
• Weekends are mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests promptly and professionally.
• Take food and beverage orders with accuracy and efficiency.
• Adhere to Stella’s 20 steps of service.
• Communicate guest preferences and dietary needs clearly to the kitchen.
• Deliver food and drinks in a timely and courteous manner.
• Check in with guests regularly to ensure satisfaction.
• Ensure items served are entered into the POS and process payments.
• Maintain cleanliness of tables, sections, and service areas.
• Collaborate with kitchen, baristas, and fellow servers for smooth service.
• Follow all food safety, hygiene, and Stella’s service standards.
