Job Description

Server (Seasonal, May to October)

As a Server with Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge, you will be an ambassador for the exceptional service and cuisine that are hallmarks of our dining experience.

Starting Rate of Pay: $16.05 per hour

Your Job Duties Include:

1. Assist guests regarding menu items in an informative and helpful way
2. Sell and up-sell menu and beverage items in a positive, professional manner
3. Have full knowledge of all menu items, garnishes, contents and preparation methods
4. Deliver and present food items to guest tables
5. Perform opening, cleaning and closing duties
6. Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Your experience and skills include:

1. 6 months a-la-carte serving experience required in the last 5 years
2. Successful completion of Food and Beverage test required 80% or above.
3. Pro Serve certification required
4. Previous point of sale system experience an asset

Visa Requirements: Must be legally eligible to work in Canada. The hotel is unable to assist candidates in obtaining Canadian work authorization.
