ABOUT US

The Chase Restaurant Group is excited to announce the opening of The Frederick, coming in Summer 2025. Known for The Chase, our renowned fine dining restaurant on the fifth floor of the historic Dineen Building, we are excited to introduce this new casual dining concept on the ground floor. We are a passionate team dedicated to hospitality, exceptional food, and creating memorable experiences. This new space will offer a welcoming, vibrant atmosphere where both regulars and new guests can enjoy outstanding service and quality dining.

ROLE SUMMARY

As a Server Assistant, you’ll be a key player in delivering top-tier service and supporting the front-of-house team to ensure guests have a smooth and enjoyable dining experience. You will assist with food running, provide attentive support to servers and bartenders, and maintain a high level of professionalism in a fast-paced environment. A solid knowledge of our menu, keen attention to detail, and the ability to stay composed under pressure are essential to success in this role.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Master the Menu: Have a thorough understanding of our culinary offerings and confidently describe each dish to guests.
  • Support Service: Assist with food running, ensuring that orders are delivered accurately and promptly.
  • Guest Service: Stay on top of water service and proactively assist guests to ensure a seamless experience.
  • Maintain Equipment: Ensure polished plates, glassware, cutlery, and other essentials are always available for the team.
  • Operational Excellence: Follow opening, closing, and all other standard operating procedures to maintain a smooth operation.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with servers, bartenders, and kitchen staff to ensure all guest needs are met efficiently and effectively.
  • Station Management: Ensure server stations are fully stocked and prepared for each service.
  • Barback Duties: Assist bartenders with any necessary tasks to ensure the bar runs smoothly.
  • Personal Presentation: Maintain high standards of personal hygiene and grooming, representing the brand with professionalism.
REQUIREMENTS
  • A genuine passion for food and hospitality with a dedication to providing exceptional guest experiences.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to juggle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills and the ability to engage with guests and team members effectively.
  • Flexible to work full-time hours, including days, nights, weekends and holidays as required.
