Cache Creek Casino Resort in Brooks, Canada is seeking a detail-oriented team member for a food service role. You will be expected to understand the menu, follow service standards, assist with side work, and engage with guests to anticipate their needs.

The position requires excellent communication, the ability to work with the bar and kitchen teams, and adherence to sanitation procedures. Previous restaurant experience of six months is preferred, and candidates must be at least 21.

Qualifications

• Six months restaurant experience (bussing, serving, and/or bartending).
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

Responsibilities

• Have complete understanding of menu item.
• Follow sequence of service standards.
• Perform all side work duties as assigned.
• Able to converse with guests and address needs as required.
• Work with bartender on stocking and cleaning areas of bar as required.
• Maintain and inventory equipment on monthly basis to insure adequate counts for service.

Summary

This position requires an individual to be detail orientated, familiar with current sanitation procedures, excellent communication skills, anticipating guest’s needs and working closely with co-workers.
