Job summary

Red Robin Kelowna is hiring Servers to join our front-of-house team at 1920 Cooper Rd, Kelowna, BC V1Y 8K5. If you enjoy meeting people and delivering great guest experiences, we’d love to hear from you. Previous serving experience is welcome but not required.

Training will be provided to help you become a confident Server. We offer a base wage of $18.25/hour + tips, with full-time and part-time positions available and flexible scheduling.

Previous serving experience is welcome, but it is not required. If you have strong people skills, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn, we’ll provide the training to help you become a confident Server.

What You’ll Do

As a Server, you’ll take care of guests throughout their visit and help create the friendly, welcoming experience Red Robin is known for.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Welcoming guests and creating a positive experience from start to finish

• Taking accurate food and beverage orders

• Learning the menu and helping guests with recommendations

• Serving food and beverages efficiently and accurately

• Checking in with guests and anticipating what they may need

• Processing payments accurately

• Keeping your tables and section clean and organized

• Following responsible alcohol-service and food-safety procedures

Who We’re Looking For

We’re looking for people who:

• Can stay organized while handling multiple tables and priorities

• Are dependable and arrive ready to work

• Maintain a positive attitude during busy shifts

• Are willing to learn our menu and service standards

• Take pride in providing great hospitality

• Are available for a combination of day, evening, and/or weekend shifts

Previous restaurant serving experience is an asset, but not required.

Experience in customer service, retail, hospitality, hosting, bartending, or another guest-facing role can also be a great fit.

Serving It Right certification is required for liquor service in British Columbia.

New to Serving?

You don’t need years of restaurant experience to succeed here.

If you’re friendly, dependable, comfortable working with people, and eager to learn, we’ll teach you our menu, service standards, POS system, and the skills you need to become a successful Server.
