Job summary

Oakmont Management Group is seeking a Server to serve residents, family members and visitors in a friendly, courteous manner within our senior living communities. You will take orders, enter them into the POS, set up and break down tables, and ensure safe, respectful service in a supportive dining environment.

The role emphasizes excellent customer service, a genuine interest in caring for the elderly, and adherence to health and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Experience is preferred but not necessary; we will train the right candidate.
• Must be at least 16 years of age with a work permit.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Strong desire to work with the elderly and care for their needs.
• Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests including physical and TB Tests.
• Oakmont Management Group may require vaccination and daily screening per regulatory guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Serve residents, family members and visitors in a professional, dignified, efficient and courteous manner.
• Accurately and professionally take residents and guests food and beverage orders and enter them into the POS system.
• Set up and break down bus tables.
• Assure compliance with all proper serving techniques and etiquette (eg. serving from left, clearing dishes between courses).
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for all staff, residents and guests following safety standards.
• Encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with coworkers and other departments.
