This is a CONTRACT role for up to six months, initially

Part-Time Hours : up to 20 hours / week

This role will be a REMOTE role located in Canada

Preferred work hours : East Coast business hours

Job Description

The Manager, SEO is a senior contact for SEO clients and is responsible not only for developing strong client relationships but also executing with excellence. The role is focused on providing expert knowledge, guidance and value to our clients through exceptional delivery and processes.

Responsibilities include :

  • Lead SEO strategy, audits, and all ongoing SEO monitoring for Cardinal Path clients.
  • Manage a roster of clients utilizing your past experience with successful client relationships and account management.
  • Prepare and develop comprehensiveon-page, offsite and technical SEO strategies.
  • Expert knowledge, and experience with competitive analysis, international SEO, mobile, blended search optimization, voice, local search, search + AI, and semantic search
  • Ability to communicate technical subjects and coordinate with clients to implement recommendations thatadhere toknownSEO best practices.

Qualifications :

  • Passion for SEO and digital marketing with a solid understanding of interactive marketing channels (search, online media, website development, etc.) and brand marketing principles
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 5 years’ experience in search engine optimization
  • Demonstrated, expert technical experience & knowledge of current SEO methodologies and implementation
  • Advanced knowledge of Screaming Frog Spider, or other crawling software, SEO tools such as SEMRush, Majestic, aHrefs
  • Expert experience in on-page optimization
  • Ability to effectively manage a project timeline.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Experience with Google Analytics, Google AdWords, Adobe Analytics,Google Search Console and Bing Webmaster Tools
  • Team / Leadership Skills :

  • Deals well with the challenges of an internationally dispersed organization in a growing, dynamic company.
  • Self-motivated, detail-and process-oriented, with excellent people and time management skills
  • Use sound judgment to identify issues and escalate them when appropriate.
  • Contribute to improvements in processes (technical or business) used by analysts.
  • Ability to identify key needs or gaps and provide leadership to close those gaps.
  • The hourly pay range for this position is $70.00 - $100.00 CAD. The hourly pay rate for the successful candidate is based on a variety of factors, including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and other factors permitted by law.
