Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is seeking an SEO Manager for Urgent Care clients. You will own the technical roadmap, content priorities, and ranking narrative across multiple urgent care sites.

You’ll shape search strategy, coordinate with writers and AI draft tools, and lead client-focused SEO initiatives with a strategic voice. The role emphasizes hands-on technical SEO, local and multi-location SEO, and reporting in GA4 and Search Console, with a focus on delivering measurable improvements for health

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on SEO experience including audits and fixes
• Fluent English for live calls with US clients
• Agency experience managing multiple clients simultaneously
• Experience with local and multi-location SEO is a plus

Responsibilities

• Own technical SEO: crawl, indexation, site speed, schema, architecture
• Develop keyword strategy and on-page priorities with writers and AI drafts
• Improve visibility in AI search and traditional results for multi-site clients
• Manage local search, multi-location SEO, and link acquisition as needed
• Produce GA4 and Search Console reports and quarterly roadmaps for clients

About The Role

Blacksmith Agency is an AI-first digital agency. As SEO Manager, Urgent Care you own search for a book of urgent care clients (urgent care groups running many sites): the technical roadmap, the content priorities and the ranking story when the client asks what moved. You are the strategic voice at the table, and you make the calls.

What You Will Own

• Technical SEO: crawl, indexation, site speed, schema and site architecture.
• Keyword strategy, on-page optimization and content priorities, with writers and AI producing the drafts.
• Getting clients found in AI search: Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT and Perplexity, alongside classic organic results.
• Links, local search and multi-location SEO where the client needs it.
• Reporting in GA4 and Search Console, and the quarterly roadmap for each client.

What You Bring

• 3+ years hands-on in SEO: you have run the audits and made the fixes yourself.
• Fluency with Search Console, GA4, Screaming Frog and Ahrefs or Semrush.
• Agency experience across several clients at once.
• Clear spoken English with US clients on live calls.
• SEO for urgent care or similar multi-location businesses is a strong plus.
