Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is seeking an SEO Manager, Senior Living to own search strategy for a portfolio of senior living clients. You will direct the technical roadmap, content priorities, and the ranking story in conversations with clients.

You will lead technical SEO, keyword strategy, content prioritization with writers and AI, and multi-location/local SEO while reporting in GA4 and Search Console.

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on in SEO and audit/fix execution.
• Fluency with Search Console, GA4, Screaming Frog and tools (Ahrefs/Semrush).
• Agency experience handling multiple clients simultaneously.
• Clear spoken English with US clients on live calls.

Responsibilities

• Own technical SEO for senior living clients: crawl, indexation, speed, schema, architecture.
• Define keyword strategy and on-page optimization with writers and AI drafts.
• Improve visibility in AI search and traditional organic results; manage local multi-location SEO.
• Provide GA4/Search Console reporting and quarterly client roadmaps.

About The Role

Blacksmith Agency is an AI-first digital agency. As SEO Manager, Senior Living you own search for a book of senior living clients (senior living operators and home care agencies with many communities): the technical roadmap, the content priorities and the ranking story when the client asks what moved. You are the strategic voice at the table, and you make the calls.

What You Will Own

• Technical SEO: crawl, indexation, site speed, schema and site architecture.
• Keyword strategy, on-page optimization and content priorities, with writers and AI producing the drafts.
• Getting clients found in AI search: Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT and Perplexity, alongside classic organic results.
• Links, local search and multi-location SEO where the client needs it.
• Reporting in GA4 and Search Console, and the quarterly roadmap for each client.

What You Bring

• 3+ years hands-on in SEO: you have run the audits and made the fixes yourself.
• Fluency with Search Console, GA4, Screaming Frog and Ahrefs or Semrush.
• Agency experience across several clients at once.
• Clear spoken English with US clients on live calls.
• SEO for senior living or similar multi-location businesses is a strong plus.
