Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is an AI-first digital agency seeking an SEO and AI Search Manager to own search for a book of B2B and growing-brand clients. You will guide the technical roadmap, define content priorities, and communicate the ranking story when clients ask what moved.

You will lead technical SEO, keyword strategy, AI-assisted content, local and multi-location SEO, and reporting in GA4 and Search Console, while coordinating with writers and AI to deliver drafts and quarterly roadmaps.

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on in SEO and able to run audits and fixes independently.
• Fluency with Search Console, GA4, Screaming Frog and Ahrefs or Semrush.
• Agency experience across multiple clients simultaneously.
• Clear spoken English with US clients on live calls.

Responsibilities

• Technical SEO: crawl, indexation, site speed, schema and site architecture.
• Keyword strategy, on-page optimization and content priorities, with writers and AI producing drafts.
• Getting clients found in AI search: Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT and Perplexity, alongside classic organic results.
