Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is seeking an SEO Manager, Multifamily to own search strategy for a book of multifamily clients, shaping technical roadmaps, content priorities, and ranking narratives. You’ll be the strategic voice at the table, making key calls for client success.

Bring 3+ years of hands-on SEO, proficiency in Search Console, GA4, Screaming Frog, and Ahrefs/SEMrush, plus agency experience across multiple clients and strong English for US calls. Multifamily SEO experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on in SEO: you have run audits and fixes yourself.
• Fluency with Search Console, GA4, Screaming Frog and Ahrefs or Semrush.
• Agency experience across several clients at once.
• Clear spoken English with US clients on live calls.
• SEO for multifamily or similar multi-location businesses is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Technical SEO: crawl, indexation, site speed, schema and site architecture.
• Keyword strategy, on-page optimization and content priorities, with writers and AI producing drafts.
• Getting clients found in AI search: Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT and Perplexity alongside classic organic results.
• Links, local search and multi-location SEO where the client needs it.
• Reporting in GA4 and Search Console, and the quarterly roadmap for each client.

As SEO Manager, Multifamily you own search for a book of multifamily clients (multifamily owners and property management groups running large portfolios): the technical roadmap, the content priorities and the ranking story when the client asks what moved. You are the strategic voice at the table, and you make the calls.
