Job summary

NovAtel, Hexagon's Autonomy & Positioning division, seeks a Sensor Fusion Software Engineer in Calgary to advance GNSS/INS (SPAN) solutions. You will contribute to embedded firmware, data analysis, and customer integrations within a multi-disciplinary team.

Applicants should have a B.Sc. in engineering and strong C/C++ and Python skills, with experience in GNSS/INS systems, coordinate frames, and problem solving in real-world environments.

Qualifications

Must have a B.Sc. in Electrical, Geomatics, or Mechanical Engineering with 4+ years of industry experience.
Proficient in C/C++ and Python.
Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills.
Fluent English with excellent verbal and written skills.

Responsibilities

Develop and enhance GNSS + Inertial navigation technology.
Perform real-world testing and analysis of Inertial Solutions and sensor data.
Collaborate with other departments to analyze and debug customer applications.
Define functional and performance requirements; design, code, and test for production releases.
