Society of Saint Vincent de Paul Vancouver Island in Victoria is seeking a part-time Seniors Program Assistant to support activities and programs that foster social connection among seniors. The position is 7.5 hours per week, typically scheduled over two afternoons.

You will work with seniors and volunteers to co‑design activities, plan sessions, coordinate guest speakers, and maintain calendars, while ensuring a welcoming environment and smooth operations.

Qualifikationen

• Diploma in Social Work, Human Services, or related field is an asset.
• Experience in community programming, seniors’ services, or group facilitation is an asset.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; comfortable working with seniors.
• Organized and able to manage schedules, materials, and follow‑up tasks.
• Able to work both independently and collaboratively with staff and volunteers.

Additional Requirements
