Job summary

Society of Saint Vincent de Paul is seeking a part-time Seniors Program Assistant to support activities and programs that foster social connection for seniors in Victoria. This temporary role is 7.5 hours per week, typically scheduled over two afternoons.

You will work with seniors and volunteers to design activities, plan sessions, and coordinate calendars, while maintaining an inclusive, welcoming environment and handling scheduling and basic admin tasks.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Social Work, Human Services, or related field is an asset.
• Experience in community programming, seniors’ services, or group facilitation is an asset.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; comfortable working with seniors.
• Organized and able to manage schedules, materials, and follow‑up tasks.
• Able to work both independently and collaboratively with staff and volunteers.

Additional Requirements
